The firing of Wagner from GM seems to be to be a very dangerous thing. Since when does the President of the United States have the Constitutional right to control the enter workings of a privately held company? Evidently the government can now choose the salary of the officers, decide who is on the board, as well as regulate the product they produce.
What is next? What I think is next is, the government deciding what products the company sells, and for how much. Since they like "green" cars, that's all that will be coming out of Washington, errr... I mean Detroit. That will force the American people who like gasoline engines to purchase foreign made cars. May want to buy stock in Toyota, I bet it goes up.
Do you think the government can operate an auto company efficiently? Lets look at "businesses" that the government currently operates....Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Post Office, Amtrak. If you look at their profit/loss sheet (note for POTUS: That is a piece of paper that tells you if the company is making money or losing money, the type should be black in color, not red) those entities haven't made too much money as of late.
I guess the people wanted change when they elected B. Hussein Obama and they got it, the change back to 1775 and the times of King George III. Maybe we should just change his title already to King Barry I.
