Will the Democrats Ever Understand?

I look at the news stories since the election, I just keep thinking to myself; "will the Democrats ever understand or live forever in denial?" The Democrats got their collective "clock cleaned" and yet they proceed like the people never said anything, for example...

Harry Reid creates a leadership job for Chuck Schumer. Evidently more overhead was required to tell the American people they don't understand the legislation that is passed by Congress. So they made a Senator with very poor communication skills in charge of communication. Brilliant.

Nancy Pelosi creates a job for Jim Clyburn Jim Clyburn gets to be "Assistant Minority Leader" so he doesn't get his feelings hurt or his perks taken away. I wonder what an Assistant Minority Leader would do, oh I know... spend money. I wonder if Clyburn and Schumer's jobs count as two jobs "created or saved"....

Nancy Pelosi expected to retain leadership The people hate her, Democrats fled from her during the elections so who else should be the leader of the Democratic Party?

In 2012, the Senate will have 21 Democrats, 10 Republicans, an Independent (Who is a Democrat, really), and a Socialist (Bernie Sanders, who masquerades as a Democrat) that will be running for office. I would say the odds are that Democrats will lose the Senate in 2012. There will also be a pretty good chance that Democrats will lose the Presidency as well (His own party is starting not to like him). Why would Democrats keep doing the things that will get them booted from power? I think the answer is either they are stupid or they are crooked, we just get to spend the next couple of years trying to decide which one.

Salazar Owned by Pelosi

It looks as though our Congressman is acting more like a Representative of the 8th Congressional District in California than a Congressman from Western Colorado. In an article in the the Pueblo Chieftain John Salazar appears to be saying he is in favor of passing of the Health Care bill, even though his phone lines were melted from calls from the opposition.

The article states that Mr. Salazar has not seen the cost estimates of the bill, yet he says:  "I feel very strongly this will bring down the cost of insurance, We will have more competition and more transparency." Interesting he doesn't know the costs, yet he knows it is going to save us money, humm....

The article also says that the House was going to modfiy and pass the bill this week. We know that isn't true they are going to modify and pass only the changes to the bill. They are going to just going to "deem the bill passed".

The article states; "that Salazar argued (though I don't know with whom) that the wide range legislation would give 800,000 Colorado residents heath coverage through exchanges." I was wondering if these 800,000 residents are citizens?

The article states:  He conceded that public polls show a growing number of voters fear the Democratic plan ultimately will cost taxpayers more money and raise health care costs. Salazar disagreed, saying opponents have encouraged that reaction.  My reaction to this is...How would you know Mr. Salazar? You never take the time to actually see ½ of your district. The western portion of your district has no representation at all in Congress. We can not actually reach a person on the phone and when we mail you we just get a form letter of the Democrat talking points.

Mr. Salazar calls himself a fiscally conservative Democrat, "a Blue Dog". I disagree. I find Mr. Salazar to be more of a "Lap Dog" Democrat and the lap belongs to Nancy Pelosi.

Pass Bill, then Read Bill

First our Congressmen don't read the bills, now they pass them so we can find out what is inside. What is this? Are we opening Christmas Winter Solstice presents? Are we looking for the prize in the cereal box?
Do these people really think we are that stupid? What a total farce this Congress has become.

My question to you, John Salazar, is how would you know what would help your district? You were to much of a coward to actually talk to your constituents and ask them what THEY wanted.

Oh I forgot Pelosi owns you. What did she give you for your support of the bill...I was just wondering.

The Pelosi Health Care Bill

According to the Census bureau there are 45 million uninsured people in the United States. With 10 million being illegal, bring that number down to 35 million. Remove the wealthy that are self insured, lowers the amount of uninsured to 23 million. Take out the people that are actually able to get government insurance but have not signed up now the total is 17 million not insured.

With Speaker Pelosi's plan there will still be 12 million people that do NOT have health insurance. Essentially then we are going to spend 1.
1 trillion dollars so 5 million people can get health insurance.

That is $220,000, per person, that we are spending, to add that person to the insurance rolls. I've got a better idea. It would be smarter to just cut a check to the 5,000,000 people so they can pay for their own private insurance. The whole problem is solved and it would be a ton cheaper.

Do they really think we are going to buy this crap? I am starting to get real excited about the 2010 elections. I can't wait to see how many of these numbskulls get voted out.

Stupidest Politician of the Year Award

I know the year is not complete yet but the voting was overwelming. Nancy Pelosi recieves the "Stupidist Politician of the Year Award". True the electerate, was only me but I can't think of a more stupid person in politics.

Last week Nancy, or shall I say SPYA award winner, told us that all of our retoric about the health care bill was bad. She did not want to see us be torn aprat like San Fransisco in the 1970's. This week Congressman Grayson compared Republicans health care to the Holicost (giving the assumption that Republicans are Nazi's) and said that thier plan was for people to die.

When asked if Grayson should apologize for his remarks, Nancy stated: "If anybody's going apologize, everybody should apologize, we are holding Democrats to a higher standard than their own members."

Nancy is a flake and is well desrving of the Stupidist Politician of the Year!
