A school in Farmington, UT showed this video to the children. Please watch the video and read my comments that follow.
This video came out just before B. Hussein Obama's inauguration, I hated then and it seems to resurface so I have to say something.
This video, created by Hollywood celebrities, is pure liberal propaganda. Here is what I think of some of the "pledges" made by these people:
First off isn't the pledge to be a great mother or great father self explanatory? What is the alternative: "I pledge to be a crappy dad?"
"Continue working with UNICEF making this world a better place." The U.N. a place that brought us food for oil and other great scandals.
"To consider myself an American not an Afro-American." This was said by Mike Tyson. I think his pledge should have been more like: "I pledge to not beat and rape women" or "I pledge to not eat other peoples ears."
"I pledge allegiance to the funk of the united funk of funkadelica" Huh? I'm glad to see he took this so seriously.
"I pledge to advance stem-cell research" Adult stem cells do the same thing, why are they promoting this?
"I pledge to show more love to strangers." Another Tyson quote, definitely something he needs to do.
"Reduce my use of plastic." "Starting with using less bottled water." I pledge to use much more plastic so as to not use other natural resources such as steel and wood. I will drink out of plastic bottles as often as I can to help promote this activity.
"Plant 500 trees this year to help our planet." You should have some bare land to plant your trees around L.A. , you know the land that environmentalists would not allow to be controlled burned or forested.
"For the environment I pledge to only flush after a deuce not after a single." What can I say ....gross.
"I pledge to sell my obnoxious car and buy a hybrid." What are you going to do with that acid laden battery of the hybrid once it fails?
"to sell a culture of intelligence instead of ignorance" You should have made that pledge before you made the video.
"to work to make good to end the 200 year old promise to end slavery" You may want to pick up a newspaper, slavery in the United States has already been over for 140 years. By the way who made that promise 200 years ago?
"I pledge to be of service to Barrack, Obama" The President works for me I do not work for him.
Then several ask the question "What do you pledge?" I pledge to use common sense and not take advice from people who's since of reality is a bit distorted.
"I pledge to be a servant to our President and all mankind" This one really bothers me. First off I thought you guys said something about eliminating slavery? Next, the President is not my master and I will not serve him. The President works for me and my family.
"Together we will be the change that we seek" What? We are going to become change?
I think the video shows you the disconnect of the Hollywierd elite. It also show you how out of touch our education system has become.
