Congressional Polling numbers

According to Rasmussen Reports only 10% of the people of this country believe that Congress is doing an excellent job. 71% believe that Congress is doing a poor job.

Well in the public schools I went to, a 10% grade is pretty much a failure. That is 3 million people. I'm sure a good portion of those 3 million people work for organizations similar to Acorn or work for Congress itself.

It is interesting to me that the 535 people in Congress haven't got a clue on what is going on in this country. The Democrats have B.H. Obama throwing them under the bus and they sit and watch. The Republicans see what is going on, but they are so afraid of the "Tea Party" split that they won't do anything either.

I think I know what the problem with Congress is: honesty. They have spending thier whole careers lying and  they don't even know thier own beliefs are anymore. Everybody knows somebody that is just a habitual liar. They lie so much that they believe their own lies. That is what is happening to the 535 members of Congress.

That is the problem with Congressional members just making their own values the current popular values. If you do something just to make yourself look good to get elected it will comeback to haunt you. Congressional delegations are not standing up for what they personally believe.

I believe all the American people seek is honesty. If you believe that Spanish should be the official language of this country or that it should be legal to text and drive, then say what you believe. You may have to explain WHY you believe those things. A little hint for you: everybody doesn't agree on everything. I may not agree with you on those two points of view, but I may still vote for you because of some of your other beliefs.

All these backroom deals, all the lying, all the corruption that keeps happening in D.C. and state capitals all over this country, I think is starting to catch up with the politicians. The American people know whats going on, and they are getting angry. You think 1994 was a dramatic change Congress? Just wait till 2010.
