Sarah Palin's Handy Pad

Much has been made, in the blog-o-sphere, of Sarah Palin having notes written on her hand and since I have a blog I thought I would give my opinion.

My first thought was what is wrong with that? The President of the United States uses a teleprompter. A private citizen uses her hand. Who cares?  We have so many issues gripping this country and we are worried if a former candidate for the Vice-Presidency uses her hands to write notes? Are you kidding?

Quite frankly I like the idea that Mrs. Palin uses her hand as a note pad. It shows me a couple of things. First off, she is a true conservative. The cost of a teleprompter being at least 500 bucks (I am sure much more for a "Presidential teleprompter"). A ball point pen is less than a dollar.

The next thing is that she has a pretty good memory. There were three things written on her hand for a hour long speech, pretty impressive.

She is not an elitist, she is doing something I would do (and have done) personally. She is not "too good" to scratch out a note on her hand.

My last thought on the idea of Mrs. Palin using a "Handy Pad" is; she is a private citizen, doing her own thing. Are the bloggers going to go after me for using my hands as a handy pad? This is simply crazy.  Too much time has been wasted on the subject, (including mine) lets get back to real issues.

Sarah gives the last laugh...
