Attacks on the Military

The men and women of the United States Military seem to be under attack lately, not just from the taliban but also from the Pentagon (President), Congress, and now a new Supreme Court justice pick. OK, the justice pick was in 2003 but it is applicable today.

First off the new Supreme Court pick, Justice Elena Kagan (Oh wait... she was never a judge)...Dean Kagan... refused to let military recruiters onto Harvard.

Then the White House wants to cut the already approved pay grades for soldiers.

Pentagon asking Congress to hold back on generous increases in troop pay

Then there are the three Navy Seals that knocked the block off a terrorist (Luckily they were found not guilty).

How about this one from the Kuwaiti courts...

Where is it all going to end? These men and women are fighting for us and yet our government does nothing in support of these troops. This is insanity seems to be somehow, nestled in a month with 3 military holidays which we are to honor our military... VE Day (May 8), Armed Forces Day (May 15), and Memorial Day (May 31).

I think it is time we showed a little support for the men and women in uniform and their families, they give everything (including their very lives) so we can have liberty.
