I was reading a story in The Daily Sentinel about sending John Salazar Packing. The story was interesting and kind of disturbing in one respect, the online comments section.
It appears there is a bit of conflict between the local conservative groups; some mentioned are Western Slope Conservative Alliance, 912 project, GJResult and the GOP. I have no idea what all the arguing is about, nor do I really care. What does disturb me is that the folks doing the arguing are missing the big picture; the lack of conservative principles in government.
With all of the garbage being forced down our throats by the liberals all these groups seem to be interested in doing is "marking their territory". If you are a person that does not like what a group is doing or what their beliefs are, do not join that group. No one if forcing you too. Personally I am not much of a group kind of guy, that's why I blog. I make my point and move on, you can take it or leave it.
All I know is that all the infighting amongst the groups just makes the conservative movement look like a bunch of petty idiots. Who would want to part of a movement that spends most of their time fighting amongst themselves, there are some perfectly good liberals out there that need fighting?
So join a group that has your beliefs and quit fighting among yourselves. There is a lot of work that needs done before November and waisted action does not help.
