So now that I sold my gas guzzling, 1976, 3/4 ton truck to Van Gundy's it looks like the government wants to buy it. I guess I missed that boat by about a year. I got it's fair market value for the truck at the time ...190 bucks. If I had just waited 1 year I could have sold it to Government Motors for $3500. Damn I screwed up again I guess. I just wonder how many non-running, junk cars are going to be bought up? I also wonder what the hell are they going to do with the old cars....resell them? Hell of a concept, pay people to sell their cars. What will they come up with next, maybe they will start charging us for invisible gases, oh wait....their already doing that.
